ABOUT ME AND MY WORK

I am a licensed Massage Therapist specializing neuromuscular work, sports techniques, deep myofascial trigger point release, and Swedish massage. Many of my clients are professional musicians and athletes. I studied massage techniques with special certification in Sports Massage at the Colorado School of Healing Arts in Denver graduating in June of 2017 (CMT). I then passed the National Certification exam through FSMTB and obtained state licensure (LMT) in August 2017.

My company Cliffs and Clefs Massage, LLC opened in August 2017. I customize each session to treat your specific needs. Much of my work is with professional musicians (orchestral instrumentalists to rock bands to musical theater actors to opera singers) and athletes (weekend warriors on the snow, the bike, or professional circuit athletes). I of course work with anyone! Anyone who needs help working out aches and pains, or just deserves  a soothing and relaxing massage.

I am also a professional musician. My music career began when I was fourteen as an organist at a small church in England. I have a Bachelor and two Masters degrees in music, one in Piano Performance and one in Music Education. I earned the Associate Certification with the American Guild of Organists (one of only seven in the country to be awarded that year!). I was the Principal Organist at St. John’s in Boulder for twenty years, and I sing with the internationally-acclaimed Ars Nova Singers since 1994. A major project I undertook was to be the Convention Coordinator for the Denver Rocky Mountain Chapter of the American Guild of Organists’ 2019 Regional Convention. For several years I was Music Director for Solis, a highly specialized acapella vocal ensemble, and I currently serve as Director of Music and Worship Arts / Principal Organist at Mountain View Methodist Church in south Boulder. Before Covid, I used to concertize frequently as a solo organist, pianist and lyric baritone singer. I'm looking forward to getting back on the performance circuit!

I love to ride my road bike, swim, and put in frequent workouts at the gym. Feels good to do healthy things for the body. Let's continue to do that by working together!
